Scott's Keys is a real local provider, founded in New Mexico.  Some Locksmiths Claim and Advertise they are locally owned and operated when they are not.  This is often a scam.

DO NOT FALL FOR THE $15 or 15 minute LOCKSMITH SCAM.

Many locksmith companies advertise under the $15 or $19 service call price. Scam companies will do ANYTHING in their power to avoid giving you a total price over the phone. If you don't get a total price for basic services such as car lockouts, house lockouts, lock re-key and car keys then it's probably a scam.  These predators often pose as local locksmiths and steal known legitimate, local, and honest locksmith names. Any legitimate and honest locksmith will give you a total price over the phone for these services.
